From a young age, I knew I wasn't destined to go to school, college and University. My brain and way of thinking were just never programmed in an academic way.
Pushing a pen around a piece of paper really was not my style, and I have to admit I've only just worked out how to have a teams call with the team.
As I learned more and more from trades and construction sites, I soon found that the thrill of building incinerators and manufacturing was my passion.
The more knowledge about wielding, chambers, Flat patts, Pyrolytic Chamber Incinerators, Rotary Kilns, Single Chamber Incinerator, and combustion processes, (ohh the list is endless), the more I knew I one day wanted to have my own warehouse and fabricate incinerators.
Incinerators for all purposes, agricultural, medical, waste-to-energy, specialised -all of the different types.
M & S Combustion started and from day one has been on a path of rapid growth and development. Quickly needing to also now wrap my brain around the business elements too. Our motto always was and has been uniqueness and every project tailored to the client's specific needs.
It is important to strive for excellence in all areas, especially those related to customer satisfaction. Ensuring quality in products and services can help build a strong, reliable brand that customers trust and rely upon.
I've said before, I'm excited about the future of technology and its potential to be used in ways that are not harmful but does good for our planet. I'm also an optimist, so when I think about all the amazing things we can do with technology, my mind goes straight to Fabrication. But as a realist, I'm aware that we need young fresh minds to drive modern projects forward. To bring new and exciting thinking, to blend with traditional methods of fabrication and manufacturing.
The best and most proactive of doing this is via apprenticeships. So we've teamed up and will work collaboratively with Bradford college with all levels of apprenticeship. Who knows, i might even go for a higher level myself.
